Simple ideas for bringing balance into your life…

BE – As much as possible try to take some time each day to just let go of everything and simply be, without trying to justify yourself, prove yourself, explain yourself – just accepting that you are what you are and who you are (even if you are not sure) accepting and allowing yourself to just ‘be’.

DO – Whether carrying out physical exercise, planning something out, or visiting friends – do something in your day that will give a feeling of accomplishment, this helps to train our energy to be usable and gives our lives shape and meaning .

LEARN – Whether it is something of importance to your life or something you don’t even care about, take time to learn something – to expand the capability and usefulness of your brain. In a well functioning system energy flows easily through the brain.

INSPIR-IT – (inspire), letting spirit flow through you everyday whether through love, joy, creativity or bliss. Inspiriting is an important physical nourishment for our systems and creativity – playing particular importance as an expression of new kundalini. Things like journaling, writing doodling, drawing , painting , photography or building collections are all excellent ways to express this energy.

Appreciation – Before you go to sleep at night, feel good about something that you have done, even if it was just getting through the day. You are the only one who really knows how hard you work, the stress you are under and the obstacles in your path – self appreciation is very important and some days it maybe the only appreciation you get.

Creating Space – We all have a kind of ‘mental chalkboard’ with only a certain capacity for our field of awareness, we need to be able to make space on that chalkboard to allow new ideas and thoughts ‘in’ and space to evolve – Out with the Old and In with The New!!

Allowing or making space for shifts of energy, raising sensitivities in our field of awareness enabling glimpses of a bigger picture or moments of enlightenment to manifest.

Yoga is a bit like swimming. We can read all the books and theories like, but until we begin to dip our toe in the water and really practice – we will never experience or make sense of the teachings without proper application.

Speaking and Living from the Heart

Throughout your day at regular intervals, particularly if stressed, shift your awareness to your heart centre – feel into the Anahata Chakra, which symbolises the consciousness of love, empathy, selflessness and devotion.

On the psychic level, this center of force inspires the human being to love, be compassionate, altruistic, devoted and to accept the things that happen in a divine way. Allow time to meditate at your heart Centre, learn to trust your heart intelligence for it computes matters far outside of thinking; Allow it to guide you and realise the power of this innate wisdom.

Getting your head in sync with your heart and harnessing the power of coherence gives you the energy efficiency you need to achieve changes that haven’t been possible before. The head can notice what things need to change, but the heart provides the power and direction to actually bring about the changes.”
